1. Despite the overall decrease in exports, the condition of the economy has not worsened, as the decline in semiconductor production and exports to China have improved.

전반적인 수출 감소에도 반도체 생산 및 대중 수출의 감소 상황이 개선되면서 경제 상황이 악화하지는 않았다.

 

2. 개선되었다는 것은? 다시 말하면...

However, both the volume and value of semiconductor exports have seen a somewhat slower decline, and the decrease in exports to China is also improving gradually. 

반도체 수출 물량 및 수출 가치가 보다 양호하게 감소하고 대중 수출 감소폭도 점진적으로 나아지고 있다.

즉, 안 좋은 상황인 것은 여전하나 회복세가 보인다는 뜻.

According to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, semiconductor exports dropped 36.2 percent in May, marking a slowed descent compared with a 41 percent decline in April. Similarly, the decrease in exports to China also improved, dropping 20.8 percent in May while it fell 26.5 percent in April.

산업부에 따르면 반도체 수출은 5월 36.2% 감소했으나 4월에는 41% 감소하였음. 마찬가지로 대중 수출 또한 4월 26.5% 감소한 것에 비해 5월은 20.8% 감소하여 그 폭이 줄었다.

The service industry, meanwhile, continued its favorable trend, led by face-to-face businesses at the forefront. Consumer sentiment and inflation are on the recovery track as well.

반면 서비스업은 대면 영업을 전면에 내세우며 호의적인 상황을 이어가고 있다. 소비자 심리와 물가상승도 회복세에 들어섰다.
